Senior Applied Sales Representative

We are seeking a Senior Applied Sales Representative with a strong HVAC background and a passion for building strategic customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Grow applied equipment sales across assigned territories through proactive customer outreach and relationship building.
- Identify new business opportunities with contractors, engineers, and commercial clients.
- Prepare accurate quotations, lead project follow-up cycles, and support closing activities.
- Present product solutions, applied system options, and value propositions that support Kerr’s growing brand lineup, including Carrier and other leading manufacturers.
- Provide high-level technical assistance, including system design, application support, and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineers to specify Kerr products in HVAC/hydronic project designs.
- Offer expertise on equipment selection, commissioning guidance, and applied system optimization.
- Assist Kerr branches with technical inquiries, sourcing products, and high-value customer meetings.
- Conduct staff training on applied HVAC/R products, new technologies, and industry trends.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the sales and technical teams.
This role may require occasional travel to support other Kerr branches. Let us know if you’re open to relocation or regional collaboration!
Qualifications:
- Education: P.Eng designation
- Must be currently located in Atlantic Canada
- Minimum 5 years in HVAC, with intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of HVAC and hydronic products
- Strong B2B sales acumen with a consultative approach
- Ability to create project quotations, provide lead-time updates, and support design-build solutions
- Willingness to participate in ongoing technical and professional training
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Positive, team-first attitude and a customer-focused mindset
- Flexibility to support colleagues across Kerr branches
